This week we each try to fill a gap in our horror movie lexicon. The results are uneven, as we watch the most hated movie in HSHD history and perhaps the most fawned over. Good times.
Next weeks assignments: Movies that came out in 1990.
Josh’s pick: Tremors
Adam’s pick: Nightbreed
Matt’s pick: Misery
Watch along with us if you like and we’ll see you next week.
Now I have to watch Psycho.
Yes you do. Everyone does.
He is right you know. Troy you better have watched it at least 2x by now.
Do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the Law.
a non-baum oz book that’s worth reading is philip jose farmer’s ‘a barnstormer in oz.’ highly recommended.
Love is the law, love under will.
I feel like you guys might agree with this list of 5 movies which would be good alternatives to Texas Chainsaw Massacre 3D.

Man, I cannot express how much I hated Gregory Maguire’s Wicked. It’s like a grad student took too many literary theory courses, read Lord of the Rings and Wizard of Oz, and went, “how can I do Wizard of Oz only pretentious and full of shitty empty symbolism?” When I finished that book I threw it across the room. Fucking guy.
Anyway. Dunn and I watched some of Psycho ’98, and damn… it has the Black Christmas 2006 deal where they took my list of everything I love about the movie and used it as “things to change.” Vince Vaughan’s too unhinged, Ann Heche is too bland, and it’s set in 1998… so horrible.
