I think you guys underestimate the amount of slime in the lives of children these days. They have more varieties of slime then ever before!
I think 3 Elm Street episodes would be fine. They’re classics: no need to rush. Let’s get in deep with Freddy. I’m curious to hear the discussion on New Nightmare.
In general, I think that doing episodes on more well-known movies is good. It lets people listen to you guys talk about movies they’ve seen without having to keep up with your grueling pace.
A suggestion for a future episode theme: the Gypsy Curse. You could watch Drag Me To Hell, Thinner, and Roadkill.
I like the gypsy curse idea. Well played.
Drag Me To Hell and Thinner came easily enough, but I was surprised at how difficult it was to find a third Gypsy Curse movie. Are there really not any more than these? That can’t be right. It seems like such a common trope.
Here are a few other themes that have occurred to me, along with possible movie suggestions:
War Horror: R-Point, The Bunker, Deathwatch, The Keep
Canadian Horror Films: Pontypool, Cube, The Changeling, My Bloody Valentine, Blood & Donuts (Fido and Ginger Snaps are other obvious picks, but you’ve done them already).
and the category I’m probably most interested to hear you guys talk about:
Horror Films Directed By Women: In My Skin, Trouble Every Day, Near Dark, Celia, Jennifer’s Body, a Mary Lambert movie like Pet Sematary or The Attic, American Psycho
(BTW, it would be nice if, on the episode guide page, you mentioned the assignment theme for each week.)

I think getting through at least the original Nightmare movies is a good idea. I’m not sure anyone needs to revisit the remake, though. Blech.

I think the remake will make an interesting bookend to the watching experience. It was bad, but I liked pieces of it
