Episode 44 – When the Goo-Ghost Freddies Through the Wall

Movies discussed: The Haunting of Whaley House, The House at the End of the Street, Storage 24

A wise man once said, “Never describe a creative endeavor with an apology.” That being said, we’re sorry these movies exist and some of you may have watched them.

So we aren’t going to have the pleasure of Josh’s company next week so it’s up to Matt and Adam to hold down the fort. To do that, we decided that rather than just watch 2 movies (66% of a usual episode) we’re gonna watch 11 movies (366% of a usual episode). That’s right folks:

Next weeks assignment: The Friday the 13th series. Yeah . . . ALL OF THEM!

Friday the 13th

Friday the 13th Part 2

Friday the 13th Part III

Friday the 13th: The Final Chapter

Friday the 13th: A New Beginning

Jason Lives: Friday the 13th Part VI

Friday the 13th Part VII: The New Blood

Friday the 13th Part VIII: Jason Takes Manhattan

Jason Goes to Hell: The Final Friday

Jason X

Friday the 13th (remake)

Watch along with us . . . IF YOU DARE!!!! We’ll see you next week.

Before you ask, yes, I totally confused baseball player Mark McGwire with Sugar Ray frontman Mark McGrath.

In all fairness, we were already talking about Rob Thomas, so I was in a 90′s music mood.

  2. All three of those movies were shit shows, but you still produced an entertaining episode. Great job with pulling that miracle off.

You guys pretty much covered it all so I’m not going to elaborate. Storage 24: 2/10, Whaley House: 2/10, House at the End of the Street: 3/10.

Watching all 10 Friday the 13th movies in 7 days is going to be tough, but doable. My girlfriend actually told me that she wants to listen to that episode with me, so you’ll have 1 more listener for at least next week.

    • Oh great, an additional listener? Pressure is on now! Seriously this is gonna be a brutal week. I’m 3 films deep so far.

  3. You guys basically said everything I thought. Although, I think I liked House At The End Of The Street more than you guys did, but I think that was because I was a little loopy from Ny-Quil at that point.

  4. Oh, and if you want some more mediocre Netflix Streaming movies, Bad Kids Go To Hell is about the same quality as these three, and Truth or Die was slightly better.
