Movies discussed: XX, Don’t Look Back (2009), Mirror Mirror, Vanilla Cake (short)
We celebrate Women in Horror Month this week with three female-directed films. Folks, there are a ton of great horror movies directed by women: The Invitation, Honeymoon, Babadook, Pet Sematary, to name a few. Unfortunately, this set of XX, Don’t Look Back, and Mirror/Mirror is only okay. Not great, not terrible — but we’re loopy enough to still get a fun show out of it.
